Essential Travel Guide to Barcelona

Where to begin with a town like this? Barcelona is a timeless destination for active adventurers, history buffs, and art lovers alike looking for a flavorful retreat. Discover with me how the Spanish city of love can be one of the world’s best travel destinations. Let me lead you across town to explore Franco-Masculine and Gaudi architecture, past shops and restaurants dating back to the 16th century, and through alleyways packed with art galleries and really-really-good shopping!

MUST SEE

LA SAGRADA FAMILIA - the monumental human offering of love and devotion to nature and spirit. The magnitude and intricacy is mind blowing and must be experienced up close.

PARK GÜELL - another Gaudi creation, playful and fresh this time. This park makes it onto my list for the mosaics and panoramic views of the whole city. 🦜

And, dont forget the ARC DE TRIUMPH BARCELONA

EXPLORE

El Barrio Gótico is the oldest and most-visited neighborhood of the city with labyrinthine streets and small squares of Roman and Medieval origin.

El Raval, opposite the Gothic Quarter on the other side of La Rambla, is colorful and exciting.

El Born is possibly the best of both worlds and my favorite quarter to get lost in.

EAT AT

Albé Barcelona’s chef blends his dual Catalan and Lebanese cultures into their exciting menu.

STAY IN

Graca neighborhood as something exciting is always happening!

EXPAND YOUR RADIUS

Venture beyond the northern hills for a day hike to the beautiful monastery at MONSERRAT. Lookup some pictures for yourself, it is a stunning destination!
